This leaf shaped blown glass dish was crafted by Fratelli Toso artisans Im Murano sometime in the 1950s. It is a classic example of their “overshot” technique. Where colored glass crystals are adhered to the reverse (bottom) side of a translucent blown vessel. Original sticker on bottom appears to read “made in Italy”. Purely mid-century modern in so many ways – including it’s pale bluish green hue.
Measures 7.75″ long x 4.5″ wide x 2″ high.
