This is an excellent vintage 1960’s Danish Modern Teak with black leather Desk Armchair by Erik Kirkegaard for Høng Stolefabrik, ca. 1960’s, Denmark. The chair is stately, yet compact. It commands attention but does not fill the room. This chair was purchased in Denmark and brought to the States in 1982. It was never imported to the US for resale, which makes it a more uncommon piece.
Condition: This chair has been gently used throughout its long life. The black leather seat has finally aged. I have conditioned it with multiple coats of leather honey. The chair itself is in overall nice condition. There are some nicks and marks here and there, including some lightly noticeable nicks on the arms. See detailed photos.
