A Mid-Century Modern Peill & Putzler glass sea shell desk light or table light made in West Germany, in or around the 1960’s. This highly tactile and very smooth to the touch seashell light is made from a seamless piece of continuous flowing glass. Sculptural in its quality during the day, with a subtle visual textural pattern running though the inside of the glass, it takes on a whole new feel and quality when lit in the evening. It then emanates an ethereal delicate light, with the internal design of the organic graining becoming far more apparent.
