This here is a early 19th century Cobbler’s bench. Constructed with square head nails (used late 1700’s – 1830’s) and hand hewed peg joints. What an amazing piece of history that has countless stories to tell. This piece belongs in a museum, but it can be all yours. This would be a great re-purposing piece as well.
