Available for sale is this original bust portrait oil painting. When considering the age of the materials we assess the painting dates from the decades between 1920 and 1940.
The painted surfaces and the canvas have benefitted from professional restoration, cleaning and conservation, which was performed on our instruction, supervision and approval. As part of that restoration process the original canvas has been lined.
We include photographs of the canvas and stretcher before they were restored for your further appraisal – they are labelled as such.
The painting came to us without a frame and therefore we present and will supply the painting in a sympathetic contemporary frame that is seen in these photographs.
This painting is now in excellent condition physically and aesthetically. It wants for nothing and is supplied ready to hang and display.
