Sublime lounge chair attributed to Viggo Boesen for Slagelse Mobelvaerk of Denmark made sometime in the 1940’s. This elegant chair in unmarked but has the characteristic voluptuous organic design lines often seen in other of Boesen’s chair designs for slagelse mobelvaerk. Very similar chairs are seen in Slagelse catalogs of the early 1940’s. The chairs are in overall very good condition showing appropriate age wear remaining solid and sturdy.
