Jacqueline Bisset is watering her potted ferns with a yellow pail as the phone rings. She walks away from the hanging macrame pot holders to a white wicker end table, picks up the receiver and sits down in one of these chairs. It’s Charlie, and it’s clear from his tone that she has more important work to do than tending to plants.
Although these exact chairs didn’t have any actual screen time on Charlie’s Angels, it’s easy to imagine they could. Good god, just look at the font on the label. These spectacular, original parsons chairs are oozing with Nineteen-Laties charm. The fabric defies reality. If you were to distill the 1970’s, this material would drip out of the pipe on the other end. Inter-woven, elevated plaid bands of varying colors and textured fibers comprise this magnificent original upholstery. Rusty reds, browns, tans and all ranks of beige are represented in this textile panoply of period perfection. The back cushions are button tufted and each chair comes with two, small, matching fabric throw pillows.
Professionally steamed cleaned to excellent condition with no notable stains, fading or imperfections.
