Vintage; Art Deco era, a wonderful and delightful, iconic symbol introduced for a Gentlemen’s catchall, is this mounted Bakelite obelisk-shaped architectural esthetic, and upon a black glass, catchall, change dish, and/or ashtray, given the apposing ended open indentations, perhaps was used for resting a pipe or cigarette. A gorgeous inclusions and capability; for any Man’s wardrobe closet, Batchelor chest, entry, foyer console, den/office, commercial office, mancave, almost undeniably universal in look, but an often used material of Bakelite, ALSO dates this closely to the era, which had some of the most profound, design period(s) which sprouted, prior to and after, but especially so the deign material utilized in every facets of design, from Industrial, to furniture and design, lighting, accessories, etc. In great condition.
