Vintage; C.1970’s Italian, hand-blown Alessandro Mandruzato, ovoid-shaped body and into a flat topped highly polished Murano, in a cobalt to Ultramarine blue depth of coronation with an outer clear/transparent layering, with 2-sided flat, polished side. Depending upon positioning and/or display, the nuanced facets will take on more depth perception, and crisp, nuanced facets project either more or less given all the aforementioned, including natural and unnatural light refracting upon such a full-bodied and solidly heavy piece of Murano. Alessandro Mandruzzato is one of the permanent, Murano glass blowers, with a much coveted following, given the period from the 1930’s- and into the late 1970’s spawned one of the most prolific, generation of Venetian Murano Glass blowers, including passing the artisan creative process from family member(s), in sustaining, growing, and art of Murano Glass blowing with such following, amongst collectors, tourists, and the likes.
